it will take 2-4 weeks to be case completed. it means no missing or required documents to be submitted. after case completion you will wait another 6-8 weeks for the schedule of your interview.(its still case to case basis sometimes it takes a while for processing).

NVC will take 3 to 5 working days to update your documents into their system and another 15 to 17 working days to review your documents altogether nvc will take 18 to 22 working days to complete your case.

ur estmation might be right. but m case, nvc recieved my dos 230 on 30th sept. 2010, this is the fourth week,am yet to recieve any further information.my Pd is 14th jan 2004.

You can check through https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx
by putting your NVC case number and IIN (Invoice ID Number)......once your not able to login (sign in fail) that means your case is complete...
